How I Used Figma Make to Create a Design Mockup in 10 Minutes (No Design Skills Needed)
If you're not a designer and want some quick design ideas, try Figma Make.
What is Figma Make?
Figma Make is Figma's AI-powered design tool. You describe what you want in plain English, and it generates a full design for you — frames, components, colours, layout — all in just minutes.
Even if it's normal to feel skeptical, try it out once.
What I Built
I'm currently building a vocabulary learning tool called VocabularyFast that uses mnemonics and spaced repetition. I tried out Figma Make and got some good points to ponder on with regard to making the design of my application better. All I did was type this into Figma Make:
"Design a vocabulary flashcard app with mnemonic keywords, visual images, and spaced repetition buttons"
Within a couple of minutes, Figma generated a complete multi-screen design. Dashboard with stats, flashcard view with images, mnemonic keyword section, and spaced repetition buttons (Again, Hard, Good, Easy) — all laid out properly.
Here's the result: View the Figma file

Tips for Better Results
Be specific — the more detail you give, the better the output.
Iterate — be willing to go back and forth to refine the designs.
